24-Hour Monitoring – The Concord Security System by GE is designed to be connected via telephone lines to our 24-Hour Monitoring Center. The system instantly transmits the exact condition and location of an alarm or trouble. The monitoring center responds by calling the premises to verify the alarm, and then calling authorities if necessary. We will then attempt to contact you on the telephone numbers that you provide us. Our Central Station is UL Listed and all activity is documented and recorded.

CONCORD - Our top selling control panel Concord by GE Security. The Concord is a robust control system, which is expandable to accommodate hardwired and wireless sensors and convenience products. The system can be expanded to accommodate 76 zones of protection, LCD touchpads, wireless touchpads and keychain control, as well as control by telephone. The system can be partitioned into 2 separately armed areas. The Concord is also one of only two products currently supported by alarm.com. Alarm.com is a wireless gateway and internet control product for alarm systems. Instant notification of alarm events by email and text message, remote control and management, plus wireless backup to conventional phone lines are just a few of the many features offered with this powerful option. The control panel also includes a transformer, backup battery, telephone connection, expansion modules (some may be optional), and one or more sirens. The siren-speakers may produce voice alerts if this option is selected

System Keypads – System keypads provide the main interface to your security system. LCD readouts and lighted buttons provide input and output capability. A code is required to disarm, and access certain functions. Some functions are “one touch” features. 3 Panic buttons and a silent duress code are programmed. Vital alarm and zone information are immediately displayed on the backlit LCD screen. Keypad upgrades are available. Our standard keypad is shown here.

Door/Window Sensors – These sensors provide detection of the opening or forced entry of a door or window. A sensor in the frame responds to a magnet placed on the moving part of a door or window. When the magnet moves away from the sensor, the circuit opens sending an alarm message to the control panel. These sensors should be placed at all windows and doors where opening detection is desired. If a sensor is opened in the disarmed state, the system keypad can notify you with a visual and/or audible indication. Overhead garage doors can be connected to provide notification if the door is left open. You can even close the door from the System Keypad, Remote Keychain, or any telephone if the Voice / Telephone option is selected.

Glass Breakage Detectors – These detectors provide a key element to perimeter security. If glass is broken, and the system is armed, an immediate alarm will occur before an intruder gains access. These detectors are wall or ceiling mounted, and have a range of approximately 25 feet. Combined with Door/Window Sensors, Glass Breakage Detectors provide complete perimeter protection.

Motion Detectors – Motion Detectors provide a backup to perimeter security. A motion detector provides an alarm activation if an interior space is entered by a human being. The Motion Detector detects body heat and space disturbance using microwave and infra-red technology. Recent advancements in false alarm immunity have made Motion Detectors a reliable part of any modern security system.

Smoke/Heat Detectors – Smoke/Heat Detectors provide supplemental detection to the electrical smoke detectors, which may already be part of the building plan or existing home. Along with increasing the points of detection, these detectors will operate when the house power is off, and will transmit a signal to our 24-Hour Monitoring Center if a fire, smoke, or heat is detected. (Monitoring Service required for response).

Heat Detectors – Heat Detectors provide fire detection where smoke detectors are not practical. Areas exposed to the outdoors, exhaust, cooking, or steam, are typical locations. Heat Detectors detect 135 or 195 degrees and/or a rapid rate-of-rise in heat. The same response is given for Heat Detectors as Smoke Heat Detectors.

Wireless Touchpad – A portable version of the System Keypad is available. This version allows control from anywhere in the home. There is no LCD readout on the keypad. It is ideal for nightstand or tabletop use.

Wireless Keychain Touchpad – Wireless Keychain Touchpads are a popular convenience item, which provides control of specific functions through the use of a small, portable Keyfobs. The system can be armed and disarmed. You can also control lights, and a panic function is provided.

Voice /Telephone Module – The Voice/Telephone Module provides a way to control the system through any touchtone telephone on or off premises. You can call the system to check or change it’s status from a cellular or landline telephone anywhere. You can also use on-premises phones to control the system, giving you more “virtual” keypads throughout the home.

Carbon Monoxide Detectors – Carbon Monoxide Detectors can be linked to the system to provide detection of this deadly gas. Sources of carbon monoxide include vehicle exhaust, furnace emissions, or gasses produced by fires. The advantage to an integrated carbon monoxide detector is that it is monitored by our 24-Hour Central Station.

Combustible Gas Detectors – Combustible Gas Detectors can detect propane or natural gas leaks before they become dangerous. Typical locations are furnace areas, kitchens, and near gas fireplaces.

Freeze Sensor – A Freeze Sensor can be placed in or near areas where a freeze alarm is desired. Freeze Sensors can provide early warning of a furnace failure or below-normal temperatures that might threaten plumbing pipes or equipment. A warning is displayed at the keypad and a signal is transmitted to the Monitoring Center.

Water Sensor – This sensor provides detection of the presence of water. Typical locations are near water heaters, furnaces, washers, and sump pumps. A warning is displayed at the keypad and a signal is transmitted to the Monitoring Center.
